[artix-general] updates keep blowing away my desktop

More specifically on this:

mkinitcpio report
error /lib/modules/5.5.3-artix1-1 is not a valid kernel module directory

which is bizzarre
It has 5.3.13 5.4.74 5.5.10 5.9.1 5.9.6 

The live version is running kernel 5.5.1
