Apologies for the delay, but did 1.0.4.1-1 work fine on this laptop?
I did discover one possible difference in the PKGBUILD that may be
related (using mv instead of cp -a). Hopefully that will fix it for
you since otherwise there isn't any difference between 1.0.4.1-1 and
1.0.4.1-3 when it comes to installing the binaries. I updated the
gremlins package (no version change again) so give it a reinstall and
hope for the best...
