So one need to make some special tweaks for wireless?  The thread referenced there is no longer available [1] BTW.  And although it seems openRC integrates several things like network itself, and then NTP client, I'd rather stick with the external apps as I'm doing right now on Arch.  For NTP I'm still using old ntp package (I used before openntpd, but I remember at some point it was consider insecure, not sure even when that happened).  For network I'd like to use netcfg, and it seems to work, but it also seems like it's missing some functionality for wireless...  I don't remember if the wifi-menu is something new to netctl, I thought it was there on netcfg...
