<div>Hello. The prometheus-openrc init script seems to be broken. When I try to start the service with rc-service prometheus-start, I get the following error:</div><div> </div><div>* start-stop-daemon: --stdout and --stderr are only relevant with --background</div><div>* Failed to start prometheus</div><div>* ERROR: prometheus failed to start</div><div> </div><div>Then I tried to replace /etc/init.d/prometheus with the script from gentoo repo (<a href="https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/app-metrics/prometheus/files/prometheus.initd" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/app-metrics/prometheus/files/prometheus.initd</a>)</div><div>and it worked.</div><div> </div><div>Regards,</div><div>Fyodor</div>
