Hello !
I'm a Jami user, I've wondered in the past why artix keeps opendht and jami-daemon packages if it doesn't keep jami-qt on its repos... That makes dependencies issues to show up with some frequency...
At any rate, currently, to be able to use Jami, one needs to install opendht and jami-daemon from arch/extra, otherwise libraries and symbols issues show up.
It's also been like 2 or 3 weeks with Jami pretty much seg faulting on artix, but it was not seg faulting on arch AFAIK. Besides Qt dependencies, there might be other SW dependencies on core functionality which prevents artix to work properly at times, when no changes on arch ar at site, but more deep dependencies, particularly those on the core/system repo might affect Jami behavior. I'm thinking on having my own local jami-qt package, though I'm not sure that'll solve issues, besides the need to keep an eye on arch, to see when things need to update...
I hope at some point Jami becomes an artix package, :).
Greetings !
