Brings several bad consequences for an artix box, like failing to mount for example the boot and efi partitions, failing to start dbus when logging in, disability to start X, failing to start automatically several daemons like dhcpcd, gpm, and several others.

I had to revert them all in order to get the box functioning back. However my major suspect is s6-scripts, though I can't confirm, since I reverted them all, and there were weird errors about lvm2... Between several other errors, when trying to start X it triggered that dubs wasn't found, so perhaps dbus-s6 has to do with it...

Any ways, it wasn't that catastrophic since I could login, and revert back the s6 packages, but it was somehow disastrous to see no connection, no X, no partitions mounted, etc, after the reboot after the upgrade...

Any help fixing the recent S6 package upgrade would be appreciated. At least understanding which packages to block from upgrading would be great to start with. The versions are changing from 20200408 to 20200611:

-----------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------

There might be other s6 packages coming in the pipeline to upgrade, but I suggest not pushing them until understanding what's going on, :)

Thanks !
