Give me some credit here, I have been on artix since day 1, and haven't changed pacman.conf for a long while.
I am running gremlins in all installations, except the ones I have made for other people.

Switching to mirro1.artixlinux.... and doing an Syy now, in one installation I keep as reference, , resulted in this, which may be able to give you a clue.

I deduce from this that I am ahead of the mirrors, things appeared in gremlins and never made it to system and world and are not there now.
